The Squirrels Football Club

Garnanzo (captain), Debo, Dangerous, Coo Ed, P'Teh, Jazzy Jeff, Macca, Morlester, Tabio and The Hose (currently signed on a season long loan from The Badgers).

Many believe The Squirrels to represent the epitome of Footballing skill and talent. With no less than 3 consecutive wins they are simply unbeatable. A ferocious consort of rodents, who demoralize opponents and collect nuts.

Little is known of the origins of this great team, Legendary footballer Matt Le Tissier postulates that Garnanzo, having collected sufficient acorns first ventured to ground level sometime in 1981. Garnanzo promptly enlisted fellow squirrels Macca and Coo Ed and the foundations were set.

The entirety of the Team hail from South-East England, specifically the villages of Chedbrugh, Depden, Horringer and Great Saxham. Squirrel strongholds they may be, but it is not unknown for a badger or two to be seen sniffing around late at night. These filthy animals must be controlled, and it is pleasing to note that traps are now being used to ensnare these dumb creatures.

'Three Squirrels on the shirt...'

The Squirrel Team kit is of decadent design and manufacture. It consists of a bright white shirt with blue detailing, blue shorts and blue socks. Star striker, Macca, reveals the roots of this design,

'...based on the breathtaking beauty of the Canadian White Squirrel and inspired by the retro styling of Marc Jacobs, this kit represents the height of late 70's fashion, its pomposity can only be measured using a scatter diagram...'

Squirellious Logious

The famous Squirrel Logo was once likened to that of the 3 lions. However, there has only ever been a singular squirrel. For the Squirrel is a lonesome rodent with a pugnacious spirit and uncontrollable fury. Its piercing, belligerent stare encapsulates the soul of this team. This team of warriors, born in the trees to fight for supremacy over the badgers.

The Squirrels will prevail, unbeaten, unbettered. For we are the Squirrels and all shall cower before our mighty Oak Tree.
